Training Description

The workshop focuses on developing practical communication skills and relationship management in the workplace. Participants learn how to build an atmosphere of trust and respect through conscious communication, avoid mistakes and pitfalls (e.g., projection or ineffective feedback), and apply proven feedback models. The training includes working with conflict - from understanding its dynamics, through assertive communication, to managing emotions and de-escalating tensions. The entire program is practical, based on exercises, simulations, and analysis of real situations, culminating in the development of specific actions to prevent conflicts.

Objectives

The goal of the training is to develop skills for effective, conscious communication in the workplace that builds trust, strengthens collaboration, and reduces the risk of conflicts. Participants learn how to provide constructive feedback, manage emotions - their own and others' - and respond assertively and supportively in difficult situations. An important element is also understanding the mechanisms of conflict formation and developing practical ways to prevent and resolve them, in order to improve the effectiveness of collaboration and the quality of professional relationships.

1. Psychological communication tools that build respect and trust in the workplace:

a) Communication traps. The mechanism of projection and ways to minimize negative projections.
b) How to minimize the risk of negative attitudes from colleagues and subordinates? How to avoid negative projections towards colleagues and subordinates? How to build an atmosphere of openness and trust in relationships with others?
c) The rule of reciprocity and the principle of modeling in building openness.
d) Practice. Skills training in minimizing projections: revealing intentions and "human face" in conversations with colleagues.

2. Feedback as an opportunity to improve collaboration and an effective way of communicating:

a) Traps and mistakes related to feedback - how to avoid communication barriers?
b) Basics of good feedback: You message vs. I message. The FUKO model as a starting point for reinforcing and critical feedback. Dealing with the emotions of the interlocutor during difficult feedback.
c) Practice. Working with real training using diagnostic and corrective simulation - online forum simulation. Feedback algorithm training.

3. From Theory to Practice – Understanding Conflict Dynamics:

a) Grounding knowledge about conflict management styles.
b) Analysis of real (anonymous) case studies from AHOP, provided in advance or developed on-site.
c) Assertive communication exercise: the ability to express one's needs and set boundaries. Presentation of the assertive response algorithm leading to collaboration.

4. Emotions in Conflict Management:

a) Emotional intelligence as the key to conflict - recognizing and regulating emotions.
b) De-escalation techniques - working with a person in strong agitation.
c) The role of body language and tone of voice in crisis communication.
