Training Description

The HILLWAY Training & Consulting "First Time Manager" training is an intensive workshop aimed at individuals starting their managerial path or taking on new leadership positions. Its main goal is to equip participants with essential leadership skills that will allow them to build a credible image as a boss and effectively manage a team. Before the training begins, each participant has the opportunity to complete a pre-training survey, the results of which are analyzed and used to personalize the content and course of the workshop, ensuring maximum alignment with individual needs and expectations. The training focuses on practical aspects of a manager's work, teaching how to effectively motivate, develop, and communicate with the team, as well as how to deal with challenges typical for novice leaders. The program is designed so that participants can immediately apply the acquired knowledge in their daily work, building their authority and effectiveness in their new role.

    • Your leadership potential (map of needs, predispositions, strengths)
  • Module III: Leadership Skills
    • Team diagnosis (level of competencies, focus on the work situation)
    • Flexible application of style (adapting communication style to the employee)
    • Managing to achieve results (defining goals, providing feedback)
  • Module IV: Leader Communication
    • Rules for the boss (when to deliver an exposé, structure of the exposé)
    • Conducting conversations with employees (rewarding, corrective, disciplinary conversations – rules and scenarios)
  • Module V: Leader Development Plan
    • Implementation of leadership skills
    • Effects of the leader's developmental work
    • Development of the leader's team
