Module 1 - Effectiveness vs. Employee Development

  • Module flow: In the first part of the workshop, participants will engage in a proprietary training game where they will manage a team. They will decide on team size, tasks to be performed, and the involvement of individual members, as well as profits. They will influence how individual members of their "band" develop. During the game, participants will face the dilemma of whether to prioritize effectiveness or team development, experiencing the consequences of their decisions in both the short and long term. The outcome of the game will also identify best practices for planned team development. Participants will analyze the most common development methods and actions, their effectiveness, and limitations.


    Module 2 - Competency Management in the Team

  • Competency wheel in the team
  • Module flow: Participants will recall what competencies are and what components they consist of (knowledge, skills, attitudes). With this knowledge, they will be able to more effectively select development methods and tools to meet diagnosed needs. Based on their current and planned future task profile in their team, they will identify the competencies necessary for task execution and their required levels. They will reflect on the current level of selected competencies in their teams, creating a resource map and identifying deficit areas.
